當唱歌只是興趣而不是工作，當唱歌還沒有薪水可以領，

當銀行裡的存款對我一點也不重要的那個時候，

是阿，回到我過去在Subway領小費的日子吧，

那時我是用生命在唱著饒舌歌曲的，

不像現在只是為了維持名望而出片。

我想如果真的能向夜空裡的飛機許願的話，也許我會希望回到過去的日子，

在我們還沒有所謂的饒舌遊戲但實際上是行銷的策略、

在那沒有人願意聽我自製的錄音帶、

和在我不需要為了市場而掩飾我故鄉的腔調的日子，

那時僅是為了Decatur 那個叫 Bobby Ray 的他自己阿﹝註一﹞。

這樣的話，我就可以中止這個行銷遊戲，回歸到音樂的最初了，

所以在這裡我想再說一次，

我希望我們可以向夜空裡的飛機們，許下些心中願望。

註一，Bobby Ray 是 B.O.B. 成名前所用的名字，Decatur 是他的故鄉。
